Ms. Lang’s practice focuses on complex litigation of liability matters in the areas of trucking and transportation, construction accidents and defects, commercial litigation, governmental liability, premises liability, and catastrophic injury claims.

She represents insurance carriers, individual defendants and corporate defendants.

Among other organizations, Marie is a member of the North Carolina Trucking Association and the North Carolina Public Risk Management Association. She has spoken on various topics regarding trucking and municipal liability for these groups.

Prior to working at Wall Templeton, Ms. Lang has worked for both insurance defense and plaintiff’s firms and brings an unique perspective and broad-based litigation experience to the firm.

Ms. Lang received her J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. After law school, she practiced with a general civil litigation firm in Virginia before moving with her family to North Carolina. She remains licensed to practice in Virginia.
