New Legal Interest Rates in SC

CHARLESTON, SC – January 7th, 2015 – The Supreme Court of South Carolina has issued an order regarding interest rates on money decrees and judgments, S.C. Code Ann. § 34-31-20 (B) (Supp. 2014). For the period of January 15th, 2015 through January 14th, 2016, the legal rate of interest for judgments and money decrees is 7.25% compounded annually. Click here to view the order
