The Charleston Office Collects School Supplies to Support Local Students
CHARLESTON, SC — July 29, 2016 — The Charleston office of Wall Templeton & Haldrup is proud to participate in the Backpack and School Supply Drive, put on by the SC Bar Young Lawyer Division. The firm is serving as one of 19 drop off locations in the Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester areas. They will be collecting many supplies, including backpacks, paper, pencils, binders, and much more over the next two weeks. All school supplies will be donated to the Mayor’s Office for Children Youth and Families, and will then be given away to students for free at the 14th Annual First Day Festival, a local festival dedicated to showing support to students and their families.
The festival is held in Liberty Square downtown, near the aquarium. There will be booths set up with healthy snack ideas, school supplies (from donors), resources for parents, and free admission to a host of activities, including the aquarium. The city of Charleston and Wall Templeton continue to show their dedication and commitment to children’s education and the families of students in the Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester areas.
