Trey Watkins Elected Vice-President of the Young Lawyers Division of the SCDTAA & Invited to Join the CLM

CHARLESTON, SC – October 4, 2012 – Associate William “Trey” W. Watkins, Jr. has been elected President-Elect of the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys’ Association (SCDTAA). As part of the two-year commitment, he will serve as Vice-President for the first year and President the following year. The SCDTAA promotes justice, professionalism and integrity in the civil justice system by bringing together attorneys dedicated to the defense of civil actions.

In addition, Trey has been invited to join the prestigious Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. The CLM is a nonpartisan alliance whose goals are to create a common interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.
